Outlook-to-Outcome Build Method
Planning Phase
The new home planning process begins by defining your goals — your preferred home plan, must-have features, and details about your lot — so Outlook Homes can fully understand your vision. From there, we refine proposal options and allowances, finalize the details, and complete the process with a signed proposal and deposit.
Pre-Construction Phase
The Pre-Construction Process begins with you applying for your construction loan while Outlook prepares your final construction drawings and submits your building permit applications. Once those steps are underway, you’ll begin making your interior and exterior selections. After your loan is approved and permits are issued, construction on your new home will begin.
Construction Phase
Your build begins with site preparation, including tree clearing and excavation. Next comes the structural phase—foundation, framing, and roofing. As the home takes shape, we move into the mechanical stage, installing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Finally, we bring your home to life with finishes like trim, paint, flooring, cabinets, and more.
Total construction timeline is typically 7-12 months depending on your decision timeliness, weather, size of home, finishes, customization, etc.
